1. Newly Built Site Audits:

Brief: Our brief was to implement full site inspection process on both new build and 3G upgrade across the Southern Region, enabling Vodafone to accurately monitor performance of both Principle Build and Rigging Contractors and ensure highest quality site roll out.

CSS Solution: As Vodafone's nominated supplier for the Southern Region, CSS work alongside Vodafone's Principle Build Contractors to deliver comprehensive inspections covering all aspects of safety and quality on both civil works and antenna rigging. Full audit report for each inspection is submitted electronically to Vodafone along with performance trend analysis as required.

2. Vodafone Shared Sites:

Brief: Vodafone Site Share Department require assessment of the quality and safety of all their shared sites, to include both proprietary and 3rd party installations.

Solution: CSS continue to carry out inspections nationally, climbing structures where necessary, checking build and rigging quality. Full audit report is submitted for each site.

1. Site Construction Quality & Safety:

Brief: CSS were asked to assist in the design and implementation of the inspection process for all completed civil works on new site rollout programme in Three's southern region. Working closely with Three's project manager, CSS designed the process and supporting documentation which was then used by CSS inspectors when attending site to carry out full audit.

Solution: Attend site and carry out full civil inspection of completed work and report back to individual team area with findings.

2. Optimisation Project:

Brief: As part of Three's programme to maximise performance of their network, they identified sites where rigging requirements may have changed since initial build so that appropriate modifications can be made.

Solution: CSS were required to gain access to antennas on specified sites and carry out orientation and downtilt checks using appropriate alignment tool. Modifications to rigging were made by CSS where instructed. Full report of findings submitted to client.

1. Dish Link Installations Project:

Brief: Siemens require a survey of specific sites in the Vodafone network to establish suitability for installation of dish links.

Solution: Working via Dalys International, CSS were instructed to carry out surveys to ascertain the space available within the compound and enclosure for extra equipment, identify all existing antennas & dishes on the structure and compile a report to include on site photographs and a site layout sketch.
