- Feeder analysis – check general quality of feeder installation and that size and labelling of feeders complies with client design requirements.
- Analysis of feeder test results.
- Check that adequate weatherproofing has been provided to all connectors and earth kits.
- Orientation checks – using GPS satellite alignment tool, all antenna orientations and downtilts are checked to ensure they are within the relevant tolerances & results recorded.
- Full health and safety assessment of mast steelwork, where appropriate.
- Check of cable management system to ensure a logical route is followed and that feeders are installed to the relevant bend radius.

The inspectors climb the structure in order to carry out the appropriate checks. All inspections are supported by a full set of digital photographs and all data gathered is recorded, at the time of the survey, onto a snagging form which is then submitted to the client electronically.
All inspection data is stored in the CSS database so that trend analysis and any other client reporting requirements can be met in order to establish best performing contractors. |
