The Challenge
Our client is one of the UK’s leading facilities maintenance companies responsible for maintenance of circa 1,500 PPMs per month.
They required support to deliver their PPM programme from a company able to accommodate the scope of service rapidly and ensure sites were completed within SLA.
The Solution
Due to previous experience with our client where CSS supported them with Quality Audits, our client approached CSS to request support to deliver PPMs. CSS developed a bespoke solution to support our clients’ unique needs designed to achieve the very challenging timescales – the following outlines the key attributes of this successful solution:
- Rapid mobilisation of our workforce enabling delivery of PPMs within two weeks from initial engagement.
- Completion of all PPMs within a three week period enabling sites to be delivered within SLA.
- Provision of an automated daily completion report providing our client with real-time progress, status visibility and insight.
- Review of every PPM completed and report to ensure quality and service to agreed levels.
- Invaluable insight through detailed analysis per PPM report providing insight for ongoing enhancements for the client.
- Inclusion of additional services to support F-Gas Leak Testing and Lightning Protection Testing:
- To support this extended scope requirement, CSS upskilled our workforce through rapid training and onboarding of appropriate skills enabling our client to optimise quality and continuity from CSS as a trusted partner.
The Results
- 100% of sites completed within timeframes.
- Sites completed within SLA.
- Rapid upskilling of workforce to accommodate increased scope.
- Extension of engagement to accommodate ongoing requirements.
- CSS remain as one of our clients preferred suppliers of choice.
Following on from the above, this resulted in CSS being assigned responsibility for regular monthly PPM demand, together with an additional quality governance function through the auditing of PPM workbooks for both our client and theirs.
